In the beginning…

… there was tawanna-patrice and God saw fit to extol two very special gifts upon her: cooking and writing.  And while she did not always think of these two gifts as special – because they came rather easy and seemed to be as much apart of her as her skin; she learned that that when she did not have either around; life was unbearable… and her soul felt like a lung that could not get enough oxygen.

 and now she is evolving… and immersing herself in her truest passions.  combining them both on a blog she hopes to share with family, friends, cyber foodies, readers, eaters, and the like.  she is using them both to connect with people who are waiting to be met; experiences that are waiting to happen; and foods that are begging to be tasted
